Instructions are provided and walk you through this process. Historically, the Bog Coat is constructed from a single piece of fabric and sewn together in a series of folds. This pattern is not meant to re-invent the Bog Coat, but to celebrate its simplicity of construction and provide modern garments based on the historical concept. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe jacket is an unlined jacket that is both minimal in look and construction. The fit is oversized and boxy. This  booklet provides the basic jacket pattern block to inspire personal expression and variations. Some design alternatives are included but it’s encouraged to challenge your creativity to add personal details. The modern BOG Jacket is a minimal waste design. Some sizes will yield less waste than others. The overall goal of the design is to make a conscious effort to reduce fabric waste whenever possible.
